He served his articles with PwC at their Durban offices and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001

He pursued a career in the automotive industry for 5 years as an internal audit manager.

He thereafter ran his own practice and then joined as managing partner a medium accounting practice.  Not long thereafter, his expertise was recognised and he was offered a post in the Middle East at Ernst & Young in the role of Audit Director.

Approximately 2 years later he returned to South Africa and served as CFO for a prominent MBA college.

At ACE, Mr. Seedat has gradually introduced Accounting at University level starting with the first year students. Since commencing in 2010, many of Mr. Seedat’s students have achieved distinctions. The greatest challenge that Mr. Seedat had to cope with was the mix of students from the various institutes, which he has managed to do successfully.
