WHY YOU SHOULD REGISTER AT ACE?

ACE’S ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

There are no entry requirements for a student to study at ACE.  Our tuition is designed to assist the student in obtaining a better understanding of the subject matter and assist those in Universities to succeed in their final exams.

OUR SUCCESS RATE

Our Undergraduate success rate has been quite high and ranges from between 60% to 90%.  Over the duration of ACE’s existence many students have achieved distinctions.

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?

ACE is a no frills college and this is highlighted by the fact that our fees are highly competitive compared to other similar institutes.  We require students to attend lectures and thereafter they may leave or continue studying in our premises.  Should they encounter difficulties whilst studying on our premises, a lecturer is available to address their queries.

MENTORING OF STUDENTS

Mr. Seedat mentors the students throughout the duration of their studies in order to maximise their potential.

EXAM/TEST TECHNIQUES

The accounting profession is unique in that, one cannot study and prepare for exams/tests as one had done in matric.  It requires a lot of practice and our techniques adopted have been used by students who have excelled in the qualifying exam for Chartered Accountants.  However, it requires a lot of dedication, effort and time.

DURATION OF STUDY

The duration of study differs from institute to institute.  All annual and first semester classes commence in the first week of February and second semester classes in the first week of August.  The duration of study are as follows:

UNISA Undergraduate Students (18 to 25 hours): The course runs over a period of +/- 3 months (12 weeks) covering various aspects of the students study material with a final exam preparation session over 1 day covering the entire syllabus.

UNISA Postgraduate Students (60 hours): See below

UKZN Undergraduate Students (30 to 40 hours): The course runs over a period of +/- 5 months covering various aspects of the students study material. The week leading up to the test, additional classes will be held to prepare the students for the tests.

COMPOSITION OF THE TUITION PROGRAM

There are certain modules that we feel that the students will cope without support and consequently we will not be offering tuition for them.  ACE’s tuition programs comprises the subjects listed below.
